Ford Honors Means at 20th Annual World Excellence Awards

DEARBORN, Mich., May 23, 2018 – Means was recognized as a top-performing global supplier for Ford Motor Company at the 20th annual Ford World Excellence Awards. Only 88 companies were selected as finalists from thousands of Ford suppliers globally.

Means was presented with a Green Pillar Award by Ford Motor Company’s Joe Hinrichs, executive vice president and president, global operations, and Hau Thai-Tang, executive vice president, product development and purchasing.

“The Means team is honored to receive the Ford World Green Pillar award for our contribution to vehicle transmission efficiency through design and process capability,” said Jeremy Holt, President of Means. “Closely working with the Ford team has enabled meaningful progress to be made in transmission performance through Means Propulsion Systems and our TransForm Products.”
