TransForm Automotive Set to Open New Facility In Shelby Township

Sterling Heights, Michigan, August 24, 2015 – Transform Automotive, a business unit of Means, is set to open their new manufacturing facility in the Cherry Creek Corporate Park at M-53 and 23 Mile Road in Shelby Township, Michigan. Work began on the site earlier this year and is expected to wrap up in September of 2015.

“The new plant initiates TransForm’s entry into flow-forming aluminum transmission components, a first for the industry,” said Bill Shaw, President, Means.

TransForm already operates two facilities in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and a third in London, Ontario, Canada. As an industry-leading manufacturer of precision powertrain components and assemblies utilizing advanced proprietary metalforming processes, TransForm is involved in significant advanced research on process design and development.
